Fat Grafting Gluteal Augmentation

The fat grafting begins with the removal of excess fat from an area such as the abdomen, thighs or hips using a modified liposuction technique. The removed fat is then processed with a Cytori PureGraft® device. This step removes damaged fat cells, red blood cells, serum and free fatty acids and yields healthy fat cells for grafting to the buttock area. The fat is then placed through tiny incision into the depth of the buttocks to ensure a natural feel and look.

The fat graft procedure is done under a general anesthetic on an outpatient basis. The duration of the fat graft, once it has taken, is life long. However, the fat cells that were transferred behave as any other fat cells in your body; If you loose weight they shrink in size, and if you gain weight the fat will enlarge.

Gluteal Implant
